Get Coffee or Else! Hays Kansas
When you see how many people were shot in Hays, Kansas you better not argue with the locals. But at least the shots they pull at this place are a lot better to swallow then the one that came from the desperados that use to hang out in Hays. Yes this was one of the Wild West Hang outs. It is in fact the place that made Wild Bill Hickok a legend.
Now the people are very friendly, and this place has great coffee and the best scones I have ever had period. Must see the building and history in this area, sit down for a cuppa and get one to go also, and walk around the train tracks and see the old history.

***Lion Coffee *** Long Before... STARBUCKS wake up and smell the coffee
The Coffee Maestro has a confession to make. Long before Starbucks, and the Hugh influx of coffee shops throughout the good old USA. My best source of good coffee was always a good cup of Kona coffee while sitting on the shores of Waikiki Hi in front of the "Pink Palace of the Pacific," The Royal Hawaiian. Great spot for Brunch.
Yes it was not easy doing recon around the world, but as they say wake up and smell the coffee.
Lion Coffee may be the oldest roaster in the USA
Oldest Coffee Roaster in USA Wheeling WV
Wheeling Coffee & Spice Company
The original 1881 roaster are still used in Wheeling WV to produce coffee for the in house customers and also for their wholesale delivery. Boy what a treat for coffee aficionados’ to stop in and see perhaps the oldest Roaster in operation in the USA.
Let me check back, because Lions Coffee in Hawaii is over 100 years old.
